Aidan Rogers
Aidan Rogers is an attorney-at-law of 20 years, called to the Barbados Bar. He is currently the Strategic Advisor for HDF Energy in the Caribbean since September 2021. He is a member of the Barbados Renewable Energy Association (BREA) having served in the positions of President and Vice President. He has actively participated in the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited’s and Government of Barbados Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) exercises as well as acted as an intervener in several of the Fair-Trading Commission’s (FTC’s) renewable energy consultations.
Aidan was also a part of the National Sustainable Energy Task Force responsible for the current Barbados Energy policy. He was nominated by the Government of Barbados as the private sector and civil society alternate representative for CARICOM’s Council of Trade and Economic Development (COTED) on the Executive Board of the Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE) in 2016 until 2019.
