Andrés García-Novel is currently Networks & Infrastructure Hub Leader in the Global Energy group at the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”). Andres is currently based in Washington DC following 7 years in Mexico City where he led IFC’s infrastructure and energy investment program in Mexico and Central America. He has 20 years of emerging market investment experience, 17 of which working in the energy and infrastructure sectors with IFC globally, including financing of renewable power generation and distribution assets in, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Central America, India, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Turkey.  Andres also worked in IFC’s Oil and Gas Department, where he completed several transactions in the Exploration & Production and O&G services sector in India and Brazil.

He received an MBA from the IESE Business School (Barcelona, Spain) in 2006. He is also a CFA charter-holder since 2004.
