Andy Armstrong is chairman of the Armstrong group which includes distribution and manufacturing companies.

Andy has long been a champion of the green economy. He is the current head of the BCCI’s Green Committee, which works closely with many stakeholders to achieve the national goal of generating 100% of the country’s energy from renewable sources.  In addition to the work on RE, the Green Committee seeks to ensure that other aspects of greening such as conservation and rehabilitation are also given attention. The Green Committee represents the BCCI on the main board of the Barbados Environmental Sustainability Fund. This Fund sees to protect blue and green ecosystems in Barbados.
