Carlton Thomas
Carlton Thomas is the Business Venture Manager overseeing Clean Energy Investments at the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited. In this role, he actively seeks out clean energy equity investment opportunities aligned with the company's sustainable energy diversification strategy.
Carlton's journey in the industry began in oil and gas policy development, but since 2012, he has dedicated his efforts to conceptualising, developing, and facilitating gas-based and sustainable energy projects, supporting Trinidad and Tobago's downstream natural gas and sustainable energy sector.
He specializes in project economics and business development, holding both BSc and MSc degrees in Economics from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and an MBA in Sustainable Energy Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business.
