Charmaine Gill-Evans
Mrs. Charmaine Gill-Evans, a national of Barbados, is a Sustainable Energy Specialist in the Sustainable Energy Unit at the Caribbean Development Bank.
She has sixteen (16) years’ experience as a System Engineer in electric utility operations, renewable energy project development, generation expansion planning, renewable energy integration and project management. Her past projects include IRRP development and development of the business case for integration of a Battery Energy Storage System for the utility in Barbados.
Mrs. Gill-Evans holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Management with Distinction from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, First Class Honours, from The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine. She is also a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE).
She enjoys traveling and is an avid reader of all genres. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
