A biotechnologist with a great interest in renewable energy and genetic engineering. My specialty is in the field of synthetic biotechnology, which comprises of the optimization of biological species.

During my PhD and Bachelor studies, I focused mainly on engineering microalgae for biochemical production purposes. I am intrigued in the future of biofuels and believe there is much potential in microalgae and for the Caribbean to invest in and capitalize on the technology.
