Devon Gardner
Dr Gardner, a chemical physics doctorate holder, has served as the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat’s Programme Manager (Energy) and Head of the Energy Unit for seven years. He also served the region in prior roles at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus and the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), among others.
Dr Gardner has participated in the development of the CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC), the Credit Risk Abatement Facility (CRAF) as well as the Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP); and the establishment of the CCREEE. As the current Head of Technical Programmes at the CCREEE, Dr Gardner is responsible for the Project Preparation Facility (PPF), Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning, the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub (CEKH), and resource mobilisation.
