Maria previously spent 20+ years in a practitioner role in upstream oil and gas and has translated her skills learned in an industry driven by efficiency and optimization in delivery, to her current role, where she strategizes and plans engagements that encompass energy services in general but Oil and Gas in particular, with regards to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Climate Change and Sustainability (CCaS). Her particular area of interest is Decarbonization and the Energy Transition in the “energy triangle” countries of Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname and the wider Caribbean.
