The executive summit will connect government, international energy operators, license holders, project management, technology experts and major infrastructure developers with local and regional organisations seeking to best understand how to do business effectively with new partners.
Through capitalising on the reactivation of interest in oil and gas the region can exploit hydrocarbons resources for export, look to internalise their benefits, harness natural gas and LNG for sustainable development and utilise revenues from hydrocarbons export to finance the energy transition, fund climate resilience and build out the integrated energy systems of the future.
Through accelerating the deployment of renewables, distributed energy systems, supporting battery storage and future proofing grids the Caribbean can deliverer more energy and less carbon and through a push for hydrogen (for inter-regional use and export) further support the energy transition, and build resilience in the energy sector and deliver energy, climate and food security.
